What is TrashBlitz?
The goal of TrashBlitz events is to get community members to go out to randomly generated, predetermined locations in their city and collect data on plastic pollution (type, material, and brand) through the TrashBlitz Web App, to help generate a relevant action plan for their state. The findings, which are designed to be open source, will help show a clear and immediate need to push for policy change that centers around source reduction.
