Welcome to Mermaid Yoga Retreat
Mermaid Yoga Retreats are here to bring you an experience, a sense of fulfillment, and awareness. The experience you’ll find is an exotic retreat with other divine women, mothers and daughters, who choose to embark on a yoga themed journey, while actively impacting the ocean plastic pollution crisis by participating in cleanups and trash audits and immersing in the vibrant culture of Panama.
We believe that breath, yoga and meditation is not just a practice, but a journey of self-discovery and inner connection. It's a transformative tool that allows us to dive beneath the surface of our busy lives and explore the tranquil depths of our own minds. Just as the ocean's tides follow a rhythm, so do our bodies and breath. The ancient art of yoga draws parallels with the ocean's cycles, guiding us to harmonize with our inner rhythms. We embrace fluidity, mirroring the grace of the ocean's movements. Through breathwork, we synchronize our inhalations and exhalations, aligning ourselves with the steady flow of the waves that kiss Panama's coastline.
Mermaid Yoga Retreat incorporates ocean conservation into its experience by hosting beach clean-up activities, educational conversations, practices and trash audits. Mermaids engage in meaningful efforts to reduce plastic pollution while enjoying the natural beauty around them. These clean-ups are not only a way to give back to the environment but also an opportunity to deepen the connection between yoga, nature, community, mother, daughter, mind, body, soul and Mother Earth.
Mermaids embody a deep connection with the ocean, blending their spiritual journey with ocean conservation. Through mindful practices like yoga, meditation, and beach clean-ups, they nurture both themselves and the environment, earning the title "mermaids".
We recognize the importance of reaching a broad audience to solve issues that affect us all on such a grand scale. It is not new knowledge that waste in our world has become an epidemic. To become more responsible as a global community, we need to continue spreading awareness about sustainability and empower our community to take action. Embrace our inner mermaids -- on land or by the sea.

Panama is a land of breathtaking natural beauty and warm, welcoming people. Surrounded by lush rainforests, pristine beaches, and vibrant wildlife, it’s a haven for nature lovers. The people of Panama reflect the country’s rich history, which is influenced by Indigenous, African, and Spanish cultures, all intertwined with the legacy of the Panama Canal. Whether exploring the tropical landscape or immersing in local traditions, visitors will experience the harmony between Panama’s diverse heritage and the stunning environment that shapes its unique character.
Surrounded by lush flora, fauna, and the beautiful sea on both coasts, Panama offers a peaceful escape, yet it faces challenges as a hidden hub for trash. While the country has taken significant steps, such as banning plastic straws and bags, waste still finds its way into waterways, impacting not only Panama but the entire world’s oceans. Panama is making strides in improving waste management and recycling efforts, and it collaborates with global organizations like UNEP and the Ocean Conservancy to address plastic pollution on an international scale.
This retreat offers mothers, daughters of all ages, and all women a sanctuary for healing—whether attending alone, with their children, or with their own mother. Mermaid Yoga Retreat provides a safe space for empowerment and rejuvenation, allowing participants to connect deeply with nature and give back to Mother Earth through meaningful activities like beach cleanups.
